English biography

Marco Camisani Calzolari, 39, is a researcher in digital marketing and manages multimedia and multichannel products for the Internet, radio, and TV as well.

Marco lives in Milan, Italy and became a father to baby Leo 4 years ago.
He is an expert in audiovisual distributions. Since 1995 he has been developing innovative digital products, such as the multiplatform TV show www.digitalk.tv, the innovative multimedia company www.speakage.com, the Italian video sharing web site TuoVideo, SpeakageLine, an instant website/podcast publishing tool for any voice or video message that is sent by a phone and the international petition platform www.livepetitions.com.

He is a member of Mensa (High IQ People Worldwide Association) and AISM (Italian Marketing Association).

Furthermore, since 2000, he has been holding classes of digital media and marketing in several Italian universities.

He co-wrote “Impresa 4.0” (Pearson/Financial Times) with Prof. Franco Giacomazzi. Available in bookstores from mid-September 2008.

WEB and CONSULTING

Since 2003, as Chief Executive Officer of Speakage, he has been selling consulting expertise in digital marketing and communication to the following companies: ATM, Audi, Banca Sella, Confcommercio, Fineco, Forza Italia, Genialloyd, IKEA, LA7, Microsoft, RAS, Suzuki, Teorema, TIN, Yamaha and other worldwide companies.

2007 - He projects www.rivotiamo.it for the Italian political party Forza Italia and his leader Silvio Berlusconi.

2007 - He projects www.LivePetitions.com, an international platform allowing people to collect signatures and promote petitions.

2007 - He projects www.Speakageline.com, a service for publishing audio or video messages on any website via phone.

2007 - He creates TuoVideo, a video sharing platform called by press "the Italian YouTube".

2005 - He creates the multimedia features of the exposition "Il Grande Cantiere Italia" (link) - an audiovisual itinerary to learn about each aspect of the conception and development of the most prominent Italian infrastructures.

2004/2005 - He works as a technology consultant with the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport and is responsible for coordinating the development and maintenance of the Official Website of the Ministry.

1998/2006 - He sets up a number of consulting appointments for companies in the UK. One among them is RESOUND, a B2B digital music distribution company owned by Mick Fleetwood and managed by Alex Di Martino.

2003 - He develops the idea of “giving voice to the silent world of Internet” and founds Speakage, with offices in Milan and London.

2003 - He publishes "Metamondo", a manifesto for digital freedom.

1996 – He launches a newsletter about digital issues which will be covered on a blog in 2005.

From 1995 onwards, he has been an IT consultant with a specific experience in the field of new media for public and private companies.

2001 - He founds together with Ibiz Group s.a. (Luxembourg) UnoPortals S.p.A. (Plc). This company develops and manages innovative online projects. Worthy of notice: MatrimoniOnline.com, Radio 3210.com, ParlamentOnline, AudioRete.

1998 - He collaborates with Softmedia in the development of the Italian MTV website, which will be named the "Best Web Site of the Year" for 1998 by “Il Sole 24 Ore”.

1997 - He is involved in projecting websites for Radio 105, Radio Montecarlo, Radio Capital, Radio RAI and other Italian radio networks.

TV and RADIO

October 2005/January 2006 - He co-produces with E-TV (SKY channel number 817) //DigiTalk - a talk show about new media issues and digital technologies, aired daily at 11.00 pm.
This program is also broadcasted on www.digitalk.tv, on Telecom Italia Mobile UMTS Video phones, and via podcasting.

2004/2005 – He’s author of “Ultima Razzia”, aired on Rete4, a television network of the Mediaset group.

September 2001/January 2002 - He hosts “Mister Web” on LA7 (Italian TV Network).

January/October 2002 - He hosts the TV program "People from the net", broadcasted live on REALLIFE-TV, featuring interviews with some of the most important names of the international digital world.

2000 - He founds and manages 3210.com Radio - the first Italian on-demand radio offering a rich variety of downloadable programs. He anticipates podcasting, considering that it will take more than 5 years for this new media format to take over.

1996/2003 - He hosts radio programs on Radio Due Rai (Italian national broadcasting company) and Radio Capital.

AWARDS

2000 - He receives the "Excellence in Communication Award" from the Centro Studi Comunicazione Cogno in Rome.

1998 - He receives the Mediastar Award for the Radio 105 Network website.

1998 - MTV Italy, of which he is responsible for project coordination, wins the "Il Sole 24 ore Award" as best website.

2005 - Speakage wins the Interactive Key for www.Genialloyd.it – the first website featuring spoken content.
